Blood and Roses
A white rose,Once filled with peace and hope,
Is now tainted,
With the blood of its beholder,
A young girl,
Once filled with hopes and dreams,
Now lays there dying,
Holding the tainted rose,
Bound by past memories,
Of torture filled days,
The rose begins to wither,
As the girl begins to fade,
White snow begins to fall,
Tainted by just a touch,
From the tainted white rose,
Crimson eyes cry,
Crystallized tears,
Tainted petals of the rose rip off,
Blown gently in the breeze,
The tainted rose,
Skinned of all its petals,
Is a mere shadow of its former self,
A hollow shell that died so long ago,
The young girl,
Whose soul was skinned of all its love,
Whose eyes drained from all its tears,
Whose mouth was left speechless from all its screams,
Has been bound no more,
Whose wings have risen and she is free,
But still chained to this earth from her tortuous pain,
She joins the many angels who share the same name,
Blood and Roses.
Celestial; you and I
Beams of radiance,Dimly reflected off the dark clouds,
Pure souls glistening across the sky,
With a harmonic melody they intertwine,
Heavy atmospheric pressure,
Bearing down like chains,
Celestial winds come rushing forth,
Uplifting the mood,
Pastel lights, illuminate the Heavens,
Show casing awe-inspiring movements,
Moonlight pulling the strings of the Ocean,
Like a puppet it comes forth and recedes,
Solitary shores,
Lack nothing but life,
Flowering meadows abandoned,
Wither and become lackluster,
Endless rain; blazing heat,
Create havoc of epic proportions,
When the human element is not in play,
The world is at its ultimate dismay,
Color in finely, the missing piece,
Let the Heavens rain down life,
Shores beat with a living melody,
Lackluster meadows bloom,
You create ripples upon a lake,
Hand in hand; you rest your head upon his,
Pure souls take their turn glowing,
You and I; balancing out life once more.
The Demon Within
The air was drenched,With the scent of ash,
A small embers burning will,
To engulf its surroundings,
A burning flame of yellow, orange, and red,
A limitless power of destruction,
A young flame kindling,
What a monster it was destined to become,
Not water or sand, nor the sheer will to survive could stop it,
It was spawned only for itself,
Like us, it lives, it breathes, it dies,
But its existence is only to destroy,
How could you befriend such a monster?
Some say ‘Come, let us burn together’
But only those tyrants would go so low,
Awaken the beat from its slumber and watch it destroy,
“Ohh, what became of us?” The tyrants ask,
But only after the monster has engulfed their cities and destroyed their families,
Thousands dead and millions lost,
The beast cannot be stopped; it grows in power,
We create our own misfortunes,
So how could you complain of your suffering?
The great winds of change being upon us rain,
The beast has once again retreated,
But he will be back,
Our selfish nature shall kindle his flame,
For now, rest, as the demon sleeps,
Don’t open your eyes till he awakens.
My Crimson Suicide
I sit alone next to a window,As I slowly cut my arm,
The warm blood oozes down,
Outside, the rain begins to drizzle,
I turn and look,
But it’s not raining water,
It’s drizzling my sweet blood,
My crimson suicide,
I begin to cut more viscous, deeper,
And the blood starts to pour,
Outside, my sweet blood drenches everyone,
My crimson suicide,
I move to my legs, I cut up everything,
My veins have become waterfalls,
Gushing forth all my pain and confusion,
My crimson suicide,
I close my eyes and begin to mutter,
A symphony so sweet,
As my blood pours on by,
My crimson suicide,
“Rain unto my family,
Let them know how I feel,
Let them taste my pain and confusion,
My crimson suicide,
Rain unto my friends,
Let them for once see as I see,
Open their minds to my own,
My crimson suicide,
Rain unto the haters,
Drench them all in my sweet blood,
Let them feel how they made me feel,
My crimson suicide,
And finally rain on me,
Let me know that this is real,
Let me see my own suffering get washed away,
My crimson suicide,”
And with that last mutter,
I fall to the ground,
My sweet blood still pouring from my veins,
My crimson suicide…
